By registering for or using OvO's services, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree to the terms below, do not use the service.

Best-Effort Service

OvO is a subscription-based platform offering Virtual Private Server (VPS) resources to its users (the "Service"). OvO is developed by a small team that does its best to maintain the reliability of the Service. Despite this commitment, OvO does not guarantee any specific level of service, uptime, or performance, regardless of payment. By subscribing, you are joining a community that focuses on delivering the best service possible through collective effort.

Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for backing up the data you store on OvO. OvO does not retain backups of your server by default to mitigate the risk of data loss. In the event of a hardware failure or another unforeseen issue, your data may not be recoverable. However, OvO follows a standard disk replacement process, and to date, there have been no major data loss incidents.

Recurring Payments

OvO operates on a recurring payment model. By ordering a server, you agree to a subscription that remains active for the lifetime of the server. Payments are accepted exclusively via cryptocurrency. After placing an order, a unique payment address (BTC or XMR) will be generated and displayed in your dashboard, and an invoice will be sent to your email. You have three (3) days to complete the payment. Once the payment is confirmed, your server will be provisioned within 15 minutes. If payment is not completed within three days, the order will be canceled automatically.

For renewals, an invoice and a new payment address (BTC or XMR) will be generated and displayed in your dashboard, along with an automatic email notification sent three days before the due date. A grace period of three (3) days is available after the due date if payment is missed. If payment is not received during this period, the server will be permanently terminated and deleted.

Wallet Billing

OvO also offers a wallet billing system as an optional feature. You can add funds to your account wallet and have future payments automatically deducted each billing cycle. If sufficient funds are available, the renewal will be processed instantly and marked as paid. If your wallet balance is low, you can top up at any time or complete the renewal manually using the provided BTC or XMR payment address.

Wallet funds are non-refundable and can only be used for OvO services. You can switch to the wallet billing system or back to manual payments at any time. If neither sufficient wallet funds nor a confirmed manual payment are available by the due date (including the grace period), OvO may suspend or permanently terminate your server.

Termination of Service

OvO reserves the right to terminate your access to individual servers or the entire Service at any time. Reasons for termination include but are not limited to:

• Violating OvO's Acceptable Usage Policy (detailed below)
• Payment disputes or chargebacks
• If continued access to your server is preventing other OvO users from using the Service (Resource Hogging)
• Nonpayment resulting in server expiration
• Your bandwidth usage far exceeds your stated limit and attempts to correct it with you have failed

Acceptable Usage Policy

OvO offers flexibility in how you use your server, but certain activities are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right–and responsibility–to terminate services engaged in the following:

• Outgoing E-mail spamming or anything that will upset Spamhaus
• Port scanning, banner scanning, or aggressive crawling
• Hosting, distribution, or promotion of child sexual abuse material (Child Porn)
• Any activity that violates the laws of the country where the server is located
• Use of our infrastructure as a source of DoS or DDoS attacks
• Hosting, distribution, or facilitation of phishing content

Tor exit relays and those types of services are fine.

Is it Legal?

OvO provides privacy and freedom as core features. While we support anonymous services, it is your responsibility to ensure your activities are legal. If OvO determines that your usage violates legal or policy standards, you may be contacted to take action or your access may be terminated, depending on the severity and circumstances.

If you are a service provider that hosts user-generated content (for example, a forum), there are service provider protections that apply to you so long as you remove illegal content promptly.

Resource Usage (only VPS)

You are welcome to use the resources on your server as you wish. However, OvO can't provide you services if it is affecting other users' ability to use the Service, or causes OvO significant financial cost. Terminating your server for resource hogging is a last resort – every reasonable attempt will be made to correct the issue with you first.
